Our working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm and our office in Mansfield has easy access to the A38 and M1, which also offers free staff parking.

Account Handler (Sign Industry Schemes)

Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Administer a portfolio of clients’ Insurances in the Sign Industry Schemes Department, in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures. Working closely with the Account Executive(s) you will be your client’s first point of contact for cover queries, mid term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issue and many other tasks and projects.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Dealing mainly with Sign Industry Schemes clients;
Building and maintaining effective professional relationships;
Offering advice about existing products and promoting value added services;
Handling and responding to product queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately;
Check and send out proposals and policy documents;
Dealing with mid-term adjustments, renewals, new business quotations – dealing with Commercial Combined and other Commercial Insurance policies including Motor Trade Combined;
Keeping abreast of market conditions and developments;
Building up detailed knowledge about the company’s products in this specialist scheme;
Understanding and maintaining a good working knowledge of the rules and compliance procedures of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA);
Training will be provided for development within the role;
Complete all administration and paperwork in accordance with Company Procedures;
Treat customers fairly at all times having assessed their specific needs; and Ensure that you conduct yourself in accordance with FCA rules and guidelines as issued by the company.

Experience/Skills required

Minimum of 2 years’ Insurance experience essential
Good telephone manner, strong communication skills
Keen interest in progression within Insurance
Committed, thorough and accurate worker
Organisational and time management skills are essential as well as a client focused approach
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work as a member of a team

Commercial Account Handler (Motor Trade)

Job purpose:

Administer a portfolio of clients’ Insurances in the Motor Trade team, in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures. Working closely with the Account Executive(s) you will be your client’s first point of contact for cover queries, mid term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issue and many other tasks and people.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Dealing mainly with clients in relation to Motor Trade Combined, both in respect of scheme and non-scheme business;
Building and maintaining effective professional relationships;
Offering advice about existing products and promoting value added services;
Handling and responding to product queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately;
Preparation of renewal review documents for the Account Executive;
Check and send out proposals and policy documents;
Dealing with mid-term adjustments, renewals, new business quotations – dealing with Motor Trade Combined in respect of scheme and non-scheme business;
Keeping abreast of market conditions and developments;
Building up detailed knowledge about the company’s products in this specialist scheme;
Understanding and maintaining a good working knowledge of the rules and compliance procedures of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA);

Must have experience within General Insurance, preferable motor trade combined products as well as associated products such as engineering inspection, D&O, PI, CLP
